  NetLink II™ for the Quest Technologies QUESTemp° 34 & 36

NetLink II provides an Ethernet network communications interface to Quest Technologies QUESTemp° 34 and 36 Area Heat Stress Monitors. The NetLink II allows clients to construct a system that enables continuous monitoring of the environmental conditions at multiple locations simultaneously. All data from the remote monitors can be transmitted via the Internet to a single web/data-base server creating a central heat stress information portal for your organization.

The NetLink II provides the QUESTemp° with a direct connection to 10 Mbps Ethernet networks using industry standard TCP/IP protocols. Once connected, the QUESTemp° measurements can be directly interrogated using Web Services. A Web Services Description Language (WSDL) file on the NetLink II provides developers with service information. In addition to Web Service requests, users can build HTTP queries yielding XML dataset responses. The NetLink II can also be configured to post these XML datasets to a web server allowing storage on central database server.

NetLink II allows the Siemens 4300 Power Meter to communicate on an Ethernet networks using a web service interface.  The web service interface is defined using Web Service Definition Language (WSDL), a standard recongnized by the W3C.  NetLink II connects the 4300 to applications written to take advantage of this open format.  With a built-in web page, clients can view measurements on the 4300 in real-time.

  NetLink II™ Ethernet Bridge for the Siemens ACCESS Devices

The NetLink II SEAbus bridge allows Siemens ACCESS devices to commuincate on Ethernet networks.  The communication is in the form of serial port "tunneling." By tunneling over Ethernet corporations can save thousands in additional wiring by using existing network wiring.
